A trial had been in progress for four weeks before the settlement, according to Bloombeg News.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/2012-01-19\/johnson-johnson-to-pay-158-million-to-settle-texas-risperdal-drug-case.html\">http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/2012-01-19\/johnson-johnson-to-pay-158-million-to-settle-texas-risperdal-drug-case.html<\/a><\/p>\r\n<p>The Food and Drug Administration had approved Risperdal\u00a0for uses as treatment of schizophrenia.
